Warren Buffett’s Latest Portfolio & Top Stocks 2025

Warren Buffett's Portfolio Analysis - Q1 2025

Introduction

I used to be sitting outside on the deck somewhere with a cool morning breeze when I used to go through the most recent Berkshire Hathaway 13F filing- and you know, there is nothing like the dull whir of my laptop as the numbers finally came to the top. So, it turns out that Warren Buffett portfolio, worth about 258,700 (as of March 31, 2025), is as concentrated as ever.

Why Care (and You Possibly Should Care)

I am pleased with his focus: the top five holdings constitute over 70 percent of all groups. Who would not be pleased with that type of belief?

To be honest, I have my doubts about over-diversification and Buffett must feel the same: “You do things when an opportunity comes along.” (This is in an interview done in 1972.)

My Short Personal Story:

The previous quarter, you can find me in my favorite coffee shop drinking a cup of coffee when I noticed that the oil stocks were dropping. My instincts told me to monitor Buffett, and true enough, he increased Occidental Petroleum. That lesson was: do what the rest are waiting to; and buy, when others are holding.
