23 High‑Momentum RSI Stocks to Watch Today

High-Momentum RSI Stock Analysis

Introduction

Well, I got to tell you, when I got the first hint of a stock with an RSI of more than 70, my heart drummed a bit. I have seen one small biotech company at pre-dawn hours when the RSI graph was rising like table-top floods in Mumbai. It touched 72 degrees that crisp April day, and I said, I thought to myself, Whoa, this is, indeed, a breakthrough.

In my survey, I shall take you through my perspective on high-momentum RSI stocks (RSI >70). You will be able to learn how to detect:

  • Uplifting charts that will put you smiling
  • Trips that will make you think twice and reconsider (“Incurring a slip touch too greedy of me, right?”).
  • The highlights of the news-movers that are exciting the energy

The requirements behind the High-moments RSI stocks are understood in the following manner.

So what is the RSI anyway?

J. Welles Wilder Jr. invented it as a momentum oscillator to gauge the rate of price change and boy, does it ever talk. It has a 14-day default setting so when at over 70, it will quietly mutter overbought and when below 30 it will quietly mutter oversold.

This time it was not so-- these stocks shot up above 70 and went higher.

There is, however, a rub to it: high RSI (more than 70) may imply two things:

  • The impetus of an extended bull market—not to mention the euphoria of a rip-roaring transaction market (“I am excited by the energy!”)
  • Potential reversal ones, you see when things are going a little bit too hot and ripe to be corrected

Crucial Dilemma: How do you distinguish between real power and an engineering of a failure? I would tell a brief anecdote: in May, RSI on TechCo skyrocketed to 78 based solely on a rumor- it actually was just noise. Lesson learned: Take a look under the hood always.

Information Source and Methods

Data Collection

  • I searched S&P 100 on June 13, 2025, in search of all the tickers where the RSI was above 70 (huge luv to ABG Analytics who provided the raw data).
  • Then I inserted news flashes up until June 20, 2025, -because current context counts.

Scope

  • We are taking a closer look at U.S. large areas: Health Care, Technology, Aerospace/Defense.

Selection Criteria

  • I selected the best 5 stocks based on the value of RSI.
  • The cross-checking on the recent headlines by ensuring we are not pursuing some story of last week.

5.1 Eli Lilly and Company (LLY) – RSI: 95

Well, it appears that LLY is completely hot--an RSI as of June 20, 2025 of 95. Do you recall what it was like the morning of June 15 when I first read the headlines: they had just acquired Verve Therapeutics with its cardiovascular pipeline.

  • Acquisition: Verve Therapeutics (cardio treatments) however this was a move which, frankly speaking, I was not expecting. What heart patient does not want a biotech giant taking a second bet on the heart?
  • Approval of FDA: Kisunla against Alzheimer disease. I spotted a tweet once by a caregiver (who, in the background, was making a pot of coffee) on X on any morning at 6 a.m., and I said, this could be really earthshaking.
  • Market Access: Increase in the supply of Zepbound single-dose vials. Personally, I have seen that single-dose vials are a game changer to patient compliance.

5.2 Oracle Corporation (ORCL) RSI: 95

Oracle RSI also struck 95- twin rockets in the technology sky.

  • Revenue Performance: 11 percent in Q4 2025 to 15.9 billion dollars. Well, it appears that good growth is something that still excites me, even after so many years in this game.
  • Product Innovation: Cloud/Clinical trial management: AI-enabled. I do not believe in the so-called AI hype, and yet the demonstration given by Oracle during the press event in Nashville last week actually made others turn their heads.
  • Growth: A new headquarters in Nashville. I almost hear the honky-tonk bands blasting away at an early Saturday morning housing developers coding.

5.3 CVS health Corporation (CVS) RSI: 89

CVS is no slacker-RSI= 89.

  • Q1 performance: An increase in revenues by 7 percent to 94.6B. To grocers, based on my experience, that type of consistent uplift is a wish they envy.
  • Leadership: Brian Newman is the new CFO. I have had a conversation with an old work-mate who told me that Newman is not immune to a whiteboard, it is everywhere with charts.
  • Strategic Launch: Program of weight-management that includes average weight loss of 15%+. The thing is, that it was not this time everyone is actually losing weight (patients) and I am delighted at those figures.

5.4 Medtronic PLC (MDT) RSI: 86

The RSI of 86 shows me that Medtronic is doing well but not hot.

  • Business Break Up: Diabetes Tycoon (MiniMed) scuttling off. I have witnessed spin offs flop, but with MiniMed 780G passed by FDA, this one appears solid.
  • Technological Edge: TAVR procedures with the use of AI; MiniMed 780G FDA clearance. And here in Mumbai, cardiologists are already talking of reduced hours in the OR and more satisfied patients.

5.5 RTX Corporation (RTX) - RSI: 80

RTX stands in a middle ground of being at number 80 and occupies its space in terms of defense technologies.

  • Defensive Tech: Counter drone. Um, everybody has got drones all over the place these days--so this is opportune.
  • Award: Collins Aerospace galley.ai gets Crystal Cabin Award. I have visited a demonstration galley once; the sounds of a humming robot arm still echoes in my head.
  • Innovation in Maintenance: the joint Predictive Ascentia Repeaters-IAE. It turns out to be really straightforward: the fewer the delays are when the systems of your jet communicate with one another.

Key Takeaways

  • I suppose you would be wise to buy a stock when RSI is above 70 like on June 20, 2025, with LLY at 95 or ORCL at 95, it is probably a strong uptrend. Personally, I have seen the RSI charts of RTX touch the 80s mark once around the same time when Collins Aerospace landed that Crystal Cabin Award. Not all stocks did that, though. No, not in the world--there are some pullbacks that can sting, at that.
  • The catalysts of news are quite punching. M&A transactions, i.e. Lilly and Verve Therapeutics acquisition, FDA Approval (ex: Kisunla), or product launch (ex: MiniMed 780G) clearances: these are exactly what keeps the fire going. I am fired up by the fact that on a cold morning one could simply tweet an announcement by FDA and the charts will go through the roof. Who does not want that?
