The Nifty IPO Index is designed to track the performance of the last 100 Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) listed on the NSE. To be included, companies must be permitted to trade on the day of listing and meet minimum inclusion criteria.
The index is used for benchmarking fund portfolios, launching index funds, ETFs, and other structured products. Stock weights are determined based on their free-float market capitalization and are capped at 10% each during quarterly reviews.
